YCD EATS

Terms of Service

The rules for using YCD Eats, in short.

This is the plain-language version. The full legal text is being finalized with our lawyers; where the two differ, the signed full text applies.

Who we are

YCD Eats is operated by You Can Do Inc., a company incorporated in [to be confirmed]. Our address is [to be confirmed]. The restaurant sells and prepares your food, an independent courier delivers it, and we connect you and handle the payment.

Who can use YCD Eats

You must be 18 or older to have an account. YCD Eats is available in US cities where we have a service area. Alcohol is not sold on YCD Eats.

Your account

You sign in with your email address and a one-time code we send to it. Keep your email and account secure: you're responsible for orders placed from your account. The same account works in YouCanDo and YCD Marketplace; these terms cover YCD Eats.

Emails and notifications

We email you sign-in codes and receipts, and we can send push notifications about your orders if you allow them. If you add a phone number, couriers and restaurants may call you about your order. We don't send text messages.

Prices and fees

Dishes are sold at the restaurant's menu prices. Before you pay, the cart shows every charge: delivery, the 4% service fee, any small-order fee, sales tax, discounts and your tip. Fees can differ by city.

Placing and canceling orders

An order is placed when you confirm it and the payment goes through. You can cancel for free until the restaurant accepts it. After that, contact support from the order page. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

Payment

You pay in the app by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or YCD Wallet. Stripe processes payments, and we never see or store your full card number. Your wallet balance never expires. Where the law requires, we collect and pay sales tax as a marketplace facilitator.

YCD Wallet

You Can Do Inc. operates YCD Wallet. Money in it can be spent only in YCD apps. It isn't a bank account: it earns no interest, and its money can't be sent to other people or withdrawn. The balance doesn't expire. Refunds of payments made from YCD Wallet go back to YCD Wallet. Where the law requires it, support pays out a remaining balance on request.

Fair use

Treat couriers, restaurant staff and support with respect. We may suspend or close an account used for fraud, abuse or anything illegal.

Disputes

If something goes wrong, contact support first; most problems are solved there. The full terms will set out how disputes are resolved and which state's law applies.

Changes

When these terms change, we tell you in the app before the change applies.
